In this introductory wheel throwing class, students will focus primarily on basic wheel throwing mechanics. They will learn how to wedge, center, throw, and trim clay involved with wheel thrown pottery. During the course, students will work towards completing cylinders, cups/mugs, and bowls in a collaborative communal studio atmosphere.
